The Judge.me and Koin integration connects a product review to a store-credit reward through Shopify Flow. Create a Review reward program in Koin, choose Judge.me and connect the program to a workflow. Customers can then earn credit for eligible feedback submitted through Judge.me review request emails.
Thank buyers with credit they can spend again
A cookware store could reward feedback on a pasta machine with store credit towards a later purchase. The reward sits in the customer’s Shopify store-credit balance, giving the customer a way to use the value directly at checkout.
Keep the reward connected to the right program
Koin provides a review-reward template and a Program ID for its Flow action. This links the workflow to the program where you configure the reward. Both the workflow and the Koin program need to be active before the reward can run.
How the integration works
Choose Judge.me in Koin’s Review reward template, configure the reward, save the program and download its Flow template. Import the template into Shopify Flow and enter the Koin Program ID.
Use Judge.me’s New review received trigger. The workflow needs to retrieve the customer associated with the review’s order ID before Koin can issue credit. Check that the imported template handles this customer lookup using the current Judge.me Flow guidance, then test it, turn on the workflow and publish the program in Koin.
Before you connect
Judge.me: Awesome is required for the Shopify Flow integration this workflow uses.
Koin: the current Shopify app is free and lists Judge.me and Shopify Flow as supported integrations.
Shopify Flow: install Flow, available on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus, and enable its integration in Judge.me.
Qualifying reviews: New review received fires for reviews submitted through Judge.me request emails. Reviews written directly in the storefront widget do not trigger this workflow.
Checkout: enable Shopify store credit. Customers can apply it when signed in through Shopify customer accounts or using Shop Pay.
Activation: turning on Flow does not publish the Koin program. Complete both steps.
